Lama Choedak Rinpoche will be making his first teaching visit in our 20th year! Yes, Lama Choedak, our spritual Director has been visiting Hervey Bay for 20 years for the benefit of all sentient beings!!

Dates: Friday February 10th at 6.30pm, Saturday February 11th at 8.30am and Sunday February 12th at 8.30am

The teachings (and Empowerment) for the weekend is White Tara! The weekend begins with an introduction on Friday night and continues for two full days on the weekend. Download the brochure for full details. Morning and afternoon tea will be provided on both Saturday and Sunday but please bring a vegetarian plate to share for lunch on both days.

On Saturday evening February 11th at 6.30pm is a public talk (see notice to right).

The regular Thursday Night practices have recommenced and start at 6pm. Following this at 8.30pm will be a Dharma  short film or teaching followed by a discussion.

On Saturday mornings the "Green Tara" practice has also recommenced and starts at 7.30am. Following the formal practice is question/ answer sesson or streaming of teachings or Dharma topic!


The next Calm Abiding Meditation course will start after Easter 2017 -May 2nd beginning at 6pm. The cost is only $60 for the full course including a book by Lama Choedak Rinpoche. There is also an option to pay as you go - $22 for first night and receive the handbook then $7 per week thereafter. Note that if anyone has previously enroled and paid for a course can make up missed lessons at no cost unless you have previously paid "pay as you go: then it's $7 a week. There are "guided meditation" evenings during school term when a course is not running and theses are via a donation of $7.
